From Community to DevOps and Data Engineering
Communities have played a crucial role in shaping my career—from helping me grow as a DevOps professional to eventually co-founding my own data engineering company. In this talk, I’ll share how being part of a vibrant tech community not only accelerated my learning but also led me to meet my co-founder. Building a company comes with its own set of challenges—scalability, infrastructure bottlenecks, and managing data pipelines efficiently. I’ll walk through some of the biggest hurdles we faced and how Kubernetes became a game-changer in our journey, helping us streamline operations and scale seamlessly. Key takeaways: - Being part of the community helps a lot, be it someone beginning their career, or someone at a peak to network with a like-minded individuals. - How we used Kubernetes in our data engineering( ETL) projects. The struggle we had and the benefit after implementing Kubernetes.
